Welcome to Swipe Sale. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Swipe Sale is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We provide the digital infrastructure for users to list items, communicate, and facilitate transactions. Swipe Sale is not a party to the actual transaction between buyers and sellers and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the items advertised.
2. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
3. User Conduct
You agree NOT to use the App to:
Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items.
Harass, abuse, or harm other users (including via in-app chat or video calls).
Post false, misleading, or deceptive listings.
Violate any applicable local, state, or international law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Payments and Fees
Payments made through the App are processed by a third-party payment gateway (Stripe).
By linking a payment method, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
Swipe Sale may charge a platform fee or commission on successful transactions, which will be clearly communicated before you complete a sale.
All sales are final unless otherwise agreed upon by the buyer and seller. Swipe Sale does not handle returns or refunds.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and listings you upload to the App.
By uploading content, you grant Swipe Sale a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
"As-Is" Basis: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
No Liability for User Actions: Swipe Sale is not responsible for the actions, content, or items of third parties. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or injuries resulting from interactions between users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swipe Sale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App or to us.
